Description

Microwave Pork Rinds (
pork scratchings in UK)
– Make a excellent and filling snack. 65% Less Fat, 33% Less Sodium, 32 mg Less Cholesterol and  40 Less Calories per serving than traditional deep fried pork rinds. Cook your own pork rinds for a real treat – they taste delicious while still warm. An 2 ounce package will make 4 cups when cooked. Our pork rind pellets have a 9 month shelf life and should be stored at room temperature.
How to cook pork rinds: Our suggested serving size is 1/2 ounce (about 1/8 cup or one small handful – 4 servings per bag).  Put the pork rind pellets into a microwave safe paper plate or dish. Consider your first batch to be a test batch. This is because microwave ovens cook at different rates. Start with a time of 2 to 3 minutes. If some of the pellets don’t puff up all the way, or if a few burn, adjust the time up or down by ten or fifteen seconds. They don’t make any noise as they puff up. If you pop up more than you can eat, keep them in a zip lock bag for later
Bake them in your regular oven (or toaster over), cook about 5 minutes at 450 degrees F or a cookie sheet. Allow to cool and enjoy. This works very well if you are having trouble cooking them in your microwave over.
Flavored with our own seasoning mix – No Preservatives, No MSG, 1 carbohydrate per serving.
