Victorian Antique Gold Gilt Dresden Limoges Hand Painted Porcelain Parasol Handle
This antique Victorian era gold gilt Dresden Limoges hand painted porcelain parasol handle dates from the 1870s. It is made of a red porcelain with gold gilt decorative baroque scrolling spiral designs and a colorful hand painted floral vignette inside a white cartouche center. This pretty parasol handle is done in the decorative hand painted style of the famous porcelain factories of Dresden and Limoges. The handle measures 10 inches long and is 1 1/2 inches wide across the top ball. It is in good as-is condition with some wear gold paint loss and a small hair line crack at the bottom base (see close-ups). Great for upcycling. This is truly a rare and beautiful antique Victoriana parasol handle!
